As a Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and Retirement Income Certified Professional®, he has the knowledge to effectively manage the transition from a client’s working years to retirement, delivering smart strategies designed to create sustainable income.
Mike also has in-depth knowledge of Social Security planning, estate planning, investment planning, and insurance and annuities. As a Behavioral Financial Advisor, he helps clients make better financial decisions by striving to remove behavioral biases from the equation.
Mike holds his Series 6, 7, 63, 66 through LPL Financial, and life, health and variable licenses. He attended Northwood University and Baker College, earning his Bachelor in Business Administration from Baker College.
Active in the community, Mike is a member of the 100 Club of Bay City, the Delta College Investment Advisory Committee, former treasurer and trustee of the Bay City Schools Board of Education, and an active participant of the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink.
Mike is originally from Davison, Michigan, and today lives in Bay City. Mike has three children, Tiffany, Ashly and James, and three grandchildren, Caleb, Adam and Emma. In his free time, Mike enjoys camping, martial arts, history, weather, reading, traveling, and learning new things.
