Wayne founded Maier & Associates Financial Group in 1984 with the goal of providing comprehensive service and putting the needs and interests of clients first. It’s a philosophy that still drives the business each and every day.
He applies his more than 45 years of financial industry experience to personal and business financial planning for individuals, businesses and company retirement plans. He holds Series 1, 63, 66, and life, health and variable contracts licenses.
With a commitment to give back, Wayne has created the Maier & Associates Charitable Foundation and Just For Kids. In addition, he has supported numerous charities over the years and continues to do so today, including Toys for Tots, Boys & Girls Clubs, Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, Toni & Trish House, Safe Harbor Kitchen, Child Abuse and Neglect Council, Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation, Power of Dad, Bay Area Women’s Center, the 1% food pantry and The Children’s Grief Center For his contributions to the community, Wayne has received the key to the city and local awards such as Businessman of the Year, Man of the Year, the Alice and Jack Wirt Spirit of Giving Award and the Everyday Hero Award .
Wayne is originally from Flint, Michigan, and now lives in Bay City with his wife, Rita. They have four children, Amy, Carrie, Laura and Joe, as well as 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In his free time, Wayne enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and especially school shopping with his grandkids. He is a member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
